charmed by the location

quiet streetshort walkcentral train stationcreaky floorboards
the guest house sits on a quiet residential street. i appreciated the short 10-minute walk to the town centre after exploring the area all day. the location made getting around easy with a pleasant stroll of about 15 minutes to the central train station.
my room got too hot, and i couldn't find a thermometer to adjust the temperature. the uneven and creaky floorboards were quite noticeable.
Service

melissa was a lovely host. she greeted me with a warm smile and offered helpful suggestions for exploring the city.
Dining
8/10
while there isn't an on-site breakfast option, many local choices are nearby. the rooms include tea and coffee. the location is close to many food options.
Facilities
8/10
parking is available at a reasonable price and was extended for us. the house exudes a warm, cute atmosphere. i found the doors closing and heavy rain sounds audible overnight in my room.
Rooms
9/10
my room was large and bright. it featured a comfortable bed and a well-kept ensuite bathroom. i had a private bathroom, despite it being external to my room, really nice.
